 N THE TOWN OF HUNTER TO THE VILLAGE OF HUNTER PURSUANT TO GENERAL MUNICIPA
 L LAW ARTICLE 17\n\nNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a petition (the "Petition"
 ) by Scribners Catskill Lodge\, LLC and Whistle Tree Development Corp. (th
 e "Petitioners")\, pursuant to General Municipal Law Article 17\, has been
  received by the Town Board of the Town of Hunter\, New York (the "Town") 
 and the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Hunter\, New York (the
  "Village") for the annexation of the following described territory situat
 ed in the Town to the Village consisting of two (2) tax parcels totaling a
 pproximately +11.90 acres in size\, with a Tax Map designation of Section 
 164.58\, Block 6\, Lots 4 &amp\; 5.\n\nNOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Dec
 ember 13\, 2022\, at 5:30 p.m. a joint public hearing on the Petition will
  be held by the Town and the Village. It shall be conducted at the Town of
  Hunter Town Hall\, 5748 Rte. 23A\, Tannersville\, New York 12485. At such
  time\, all persons interested in the matter shall be heard to consider wh
 ether the form of the Petition is satisfactory\, whether the proposed anne
 xation is in the overall public interest\, and whether there are any issue
 s related to environmental significance under the State Environmental Qual
 ity Review Act associated with the proposed annexation. Objections based u
 pon any grounds regarding the form of the Petition [as set forth in Genera
 l Municipal Law Section 705(l)(a)\, (b)\, (c) or (d)] shall\, in addition 
 to the presentation of any oral testimony thereon\, be submitted in writin
 g on or before the date of the hearing. Copies of the annexation petition 
 will be posted on both municipal websites\, or can be requested by contact
 ing the Village Clerk at 518-263-4020 or Town Clerk at 518-589-6151 ext. 3
