PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that on May 27, 2026, the Town Board of the Town of Hunter adopted a resolution reducing the number of Town Justices from two (2) to one (1), pursuant to the provisions of Section 60-a(2) of the Town Law of the State of New York. The said resolution is subject to a permissive referendum pursuant to the provisions of Article 7 of the Town Law, and shall take effect thirty (30) days after its adoption, unless within such thirty (30) day period a petition requesting a referendum thereon is filed with the Town Clerk in accordance with the requirements of Article 7 of the Town Law.
