NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN; the Town Board of the Town of Hunter has rescheduled the May Regular Town Board meeting to Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Both the Regular and Workshop meetings will take place on this date. The Town Board will not hold a meeting on May 13, 2025, or May 27, 2025.

Lanesville LFA Public Meeting on Thursday, May 8th at 6:30pm at the Stony Clove Rod and Gun Club in Lanesville. This meeting will inform the public of all the recommendations the group identified and studied and then outline the path forward!
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN – Rental of Excavator with Operator Bid Notice
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN; the Town Board of the Town of Hunter will accept sealed bids for the rental of a 25-ton excavator with hydraulic thumb with Operator. Bids in sealed envelopes labeled “Rental of Excavator with Operator” must be submitted to the Town Clerk at the Hunter Town Hall, 5748 Rte. 23A, Tannersville, NY by 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. The bids will be publicly opened and read at a meeting on that same date at 6:00 PM. Bids must include hourly and/or daily rates (based on 8–10-hour workday) and will be effective from 3/26/25-12/31/25. Bids must be accompanied by a non-collusion certificate in accordance with Section 103-d of the GML and must include proof of insurance. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE TANNERSVILLE JOINT FIRE DISTRICT
In the Town of Hunter, County of Greene
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Town Law, the annual election of the TANNERSVILLE JOINT Fire District will be held at the Rescue Squad Building located at 21 Park Lane, Tannersville, New York, on Tuesday the10th day of December, 2024, between the hours of 6 p.m. and 9 pm. for the purpose of electing one (1) Fire District Commissioner to a five-year term, commencing on January 1, 2025 and ending on December 31, 2029.
Any person desiring to have their name added to the ballot for this position must submit their name and address in writing to the Secretary of the Fire District no later than December 5, 2024.
Those who are qualified to vote at the elections are qualified voters who shall have resided in said Fire District for thirty days next preceding such election. Any person wishing to vote must be registered to vote on or before November 18, 2024.
