Platte Clove Mountain road, located in the Town of Hunter, between County Rte 16 and West Saugerties, will remain closed for repairs until  May 25, 2021.  The town is awaiting the delivery of guardrails that will finalize the project.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that I have designated Elka Park Road (Roaringkill Section) Town of Hunter as a seasonal limited use highway. Please be advised that the Town of Hunter shall not maintain nor remove snow or ice from said length of road between November 1, 2020 and April 15, 2021. Scheduled reopening will be weather permitting.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN; the Town Board of the Town of Hunter is seeking resumes for a Full-Time position as Payroll Clerk and Administrative Assistant for the Planning Board and as time allows to the Code Enforcement Office. The rate for this position is $15/hour with benefits. Duties shall include attending Planning Board meetings, so some evening hours are required. Computer experience including Microsoft Office, filing and organizational skills required. Under the Environmental Benefit Permit Strategy (EBPS) A State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) permit renewal has been drafted for the Hunter (T) Landfill Leachate Treatment. As a result of the EBPS review, a new five year term is proposed.
